Production of wood char is old and well known. Humans has produced wood char for over 6000 years. Today Procarbon present the next generation bio carbon products. We ensure minimal exhaust and maximal biomass exchange. In the process the bio carbon characteristics can be modified in many aspects to fit our customer’s requests and to make a change today.

Our patented technology has enabled us to offer a fully bio-based product that is capable of replacing traditional fossil fuels without requiring significant investments in plant redevelopment or new production sites.

Through years of research and development, we have refined our technology to make it possible for clients to significantly reduce their CO₂ emissions and enable doing so today. With our production partners we offer high-capacity production to supply large volumes of our patented products, which can be easily adapted to existing production lines, minimizing the need for costly new facilities.

Various biomass products, such as charcoals, briquettes, pellets and wood chips are customized to provide desired properties and solutions for every unique client. Our products can be used as reductants in the metallurgical industry, as energy or elsewhere where you put value in a bio based carbon product.

The bio products are made from different biomass sources and treatments depending on quality demands and requested certificates, such as FSC. Products are provided from sources in Europe as well as Globally.

Procarbon´s patented technology is initially based on raw materials sourced from the forest industry, but it is also compatible with waste materials from other industries. Other examples of usage areas would be our bio product as a component in carbon neutral concrete.

With our bio carbon briquettes it is now possible to increase the density, mechanical and thermal strength, content of fixed carbon and calorific value. But also lower volatile matters, ash and moisture as well as reducing the generating of dust. All depending on our client’s requirements.

Our briquettes gives great logistical advantages. With exceptional strength and hardness the product travels easily. This along with the ability to be stored outside without absorbing moisture is what’s separating this high end product from traditional char coal characteristics.

Although hydrogen is an essential component of modern industry, many sectors still rely on carbon-based products. At Procarbon, we recognize the importance of carbon in both industrial processes and everyday end products. We offer a range of services to our clients, including assistance in acquiring forestry assets, land management services, such as planting, maintenance, and reforestation, as well as refining assets into carbon products, if required. Our approach is designed to allow clients to take control of their own assets and supply chains.

In addition, we provide carbon offset services, such as forest conservation, and support our clients with carbon stock calculations and CO₂ emissions tracking. We take pride in our ability to offer low-carbon logistical solutions, including vessel shipment and trucking throughout Europe.
